First day activities.......We were divided into families. Each of us for the duration of this program would stay at the villagers' house. After relaxing for a bit...we all went to the muddy seashore to search for kepah....kerang or anything hard-shelled,They love to play with their mud!!!!

Pernah dengar tak pasal homestay kat Malaysia nih? Industri homestay kat sini sedang meningkat dan dengan penyertaan lebih banyak kampung-kampung di seluruh negara, kemungkinan ia akan menjadi penyumbang sektor pelancongan negara yang utama. Anyway while i was working at IIUM Enterepreneurship and Consultancies Sdn Bhd. (a subsidiary of IIUM Holding Bhd.) as a project officer, i was very fortunate to be involve in a program held at a homestay in Sabak Bernam. The district is situated at the border of Selangor and Perak. Main industry is can see along the main road a vast view of paddy field among other things. This homestay is called Hj Dorani's Homestay. We stayed there for the weekend and the experience was eye opening. Never thought that cottage industries in the kampung are thriving getting demands from all over.

As you had noticed, I'd graduated from IIUM. I took Bachelor degree in Human Sciences majoring in Psychology. Never thought i would be a counselor. But as fate tooks on I was accepted as one at the welfare department od selangor. My office is very near my home. Back to the was a joyful day . I was happy to finallly receive my end my 3 and a half year course (doesn't include 1 and a half year in matriculation centre!) with a not so bad result. My lecturers inspired me the most. Especially Dr. Hariyati, the most popular psyc' lecturer and now is the head of psychology department. Had lot of friends there.Miss them always!!! Had been active in clubs and societies. some call me Gila Kuasa!!!!he...he....and no, the reason i wrote in this photoblog in english was not because of my education (for those who didn't know, IIUM uses english and arabic as the medium of instruction). It's just because i want to...hey, i can still write in bahasa you know! Saje je pakai english ...salah ke?Okay....okay...melalut laks.Apepun, i am grateful for my education. it made me a better person, very well rounded yet with my own personality.......
